“This
work is typical of much digital art because it is an artwork that places
importance on
• formal instructions
Using computer to connect others from different cities or even countries in an unpredictable situation via internet.
•
the
concept rather than the art object
The umbrellas are independent object when the lights do not open that is the user do not use the system. Just like when it is raining, everyone open their own umbrellas and no interaction with others. When rains drop on one umbrella and jump to another's umbrella, it means they have interaction which transfers something.
• the
event and audience participation
If the user uses it, it can spread out the information. Different lights colours demonstrate different status of the users, if he/she is available, he/she will show it to you, then you can chat with them or exchange the information.
• an
interest in random events and/or chance
everything is random in this net work. It is unpredictable to know when is the user online.
