According to Adams,there are three types of art that he mentioned: literary arts,fine art and decorative art. He thinks that art is lasted long since it has aesthetic meaning that showed if it beauty or not. Furthermore, it has content to express something and let you feel something about it.Also, he mentioned that doing art is not a formula.
I agree with his ideas. As he said that art can keep a long time even forever,like ancient sculptures. If the things have defined as artwork, it is art forever. Art makes you feel something, even it is just still life painting, we can through the colors to feel the artwork.
However, is it possible that art is no content? I may say yes. There are few paintings called 'Sunrise' which painted by Monet, he just wanted to emphasize the changing of colors.It is a landscape ,a building but no content. It is still an artwork.
